IPOs of Appollo Ispat, Rupali Life Ins MF approved!!! The securities regulator thursday approved the ipo (initial public offering) proposal of Appollo Ispat and also the prospectus of an open-end mutual fund and also the trust deed of a closed-end mutual fund, officials said. The decisions were taken at a commission meeting, chaired by the SEC Chairman Khairul Hossain.

As per the regulative approval, Appollo Ispat can offload one hundred million stock of ten taka every at a proposal value of Tk twenty two, including a premium of Tk twelve. Appollo Ispat Complex Limited (AICL) is one of the subsidiaries of Appollo Group.

According to the Appollo Ispat Complex Limited (AICL)'s audited financial statement for the year ended on June thirty, 2012, the company's net asset value (NAV) and earning per share (EPS) are of Tk 22.59 and Tk 2.36 respectively.

The regulator has also approved the trust deed and investment management agreement of the closed-end mutual fund--Rock NRB Balanced Fund.

As per the SEC's approval, Rupali life insurance first mutual fund, an open-end mutual fund, can go public with a size of Tk five hundred million, of that Tk 250 million are going to be collected through public subscription
